quartet-122The Chesapeake Arts Center is proud to announce local Jazz band, Quartet 122, in an all age concert on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at 3:00pm.The concert will be held in the Studio 194 theatre and tickets are available for purchase online at www.Chesapeakearts.org or by calling the Chesapeake Arts Center Box Office at Phone: 410-636-6597.

Quartet 122 – Zack Stachowski (violin), Ian Wardenski (guitar) Dan Shomper (cello), Marty Knepp (vibes) – is a new and innovative ensemble that includes four multifaceted musicians. Their diverse backgrounds create a seamless blend of classical, jazz, Latin, and popular music. Quartet 122 simultaneously combines the esthetics of a classical chamber group with the freedom, spontaneity, and improvisation of a small jazz combo—all these elements are captured in the ensemble’s compositions, arrangements, and transcriptions.
