homegardenBold and beautiful flower, tree and shrub arrangements will illuminate the Timonium Fairgrounds to help usher in a spring season full of inspiration for homeowners. With displays and consulting from hundreds of landscape and home improvement contractors and experts, visitors will be inspired—this year’s theme—to start those projects put off all winter. Over two weekends, the Maryland Home & Garden Show, now in its 34th year, will feature:

  • Landscaped Gardens: Drawing on diverse inspirations, local landscape professionals will showcase unique designs for outdoor living in beautifully crafted displays, ranging from townhouse-sized gardens to elaborate landscapes with patios and water features.
  • More than 300 home improvement contractors and exhibitors: Home improvement experts and contractors will boast the latest and greatest in indoor and outdoor products and services– from decks, patios, kitchens and baths to cabinets, countertops, hot tubs and water proofing. Many will be offering show-exclusive specials.
  • Tiny House by SustainaFest: Visitors are invited to step inside Annapolis nonprofit SustainaFest’s charming and hyper-efficient Tiny House. This student-constructed marvel features the latest in sustainable materials and green technology, and maximizes living space with its innovative interior design. The 210 square-foot home will be featured in an outdoor, eco-friendly garden.
  • Maryland Orchid Society Show (2nd weekend): Thousands of vivid and rare flowers will dazzle guests in this deeply-rooted spring show tradition. The show’s stunning orchids will also be available for purchase.
  • Maryland Spring Craft Show: More than 125 juried craftspeople will display and sell one-of-a-kind, handmade creations, including fine art, jewelry, pottery, fashion and home accessories.
  • Free Seminars, Consultations: Free show seminars in the Maryland Home & Garden Show Theater include topics ranging from vegetable gardening to flower arranging and remodeling on a budget. Enjoy one-on-one interior design consultations with the American Society of Interior Designers. Come prepared with your photos, floor plans and design questions to receive complimentary expert advice.
  • Petting Zoo: Families interested in a hands-on animal encounter will have a chance to pet goats, sheep, alpacas, bunnies, a pot belly pig and a tortoise.
