AA County LogoThe Anne Arundel County Department of Health’s Recovery Support Services Program will award a total of up to $15,000 in mini-grants to community organizations and community service providers to promote recovery from substance use or co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. The deadline for applications will be February 27, 2015 at 4 p.m. Applicants are required to attend the pre-bid conference on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Anne Arundel County Department of Health, 3 Harry S. Truman Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21401. Call 410-222-7164 to register for the pre-bid conference.

The Recovery Support Services Grants Program helps organizations provide recovery services and activities in the community that support people in recovery and reduce the stigma of substance use and co-occurring disorders. Funding requests should be within the range of $1,000 and $5,000.

For more information about the mini-grants and the application, go to the Hot Topics section of the Department of Health’s home page, www.aahealth.org, or call Tiffany Heard, Recovery Support Services Care and Project Coordinator, at 410-222-7164.
