Domestic dispute in Pasadena leads to shooting

On February 25, 2015, at approximately 1:25 a.m., officers from the Eastern District responded to the 7600 block of Pine Haven Drive in Pasadena for a report of a shooting that just occurred.

Upon arrival, officers located a 55-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his upper body. Investigators learned that the male suspect came to this residence to speak with his wife. A verbal confrontation began with the occupants of the residence when the suspect displayed a handgun and fired multiple shots. One shot struck the male victim. The suspect fled the scene in a white 2006 Ford pickup with writing on the doors “Dennis Schultz Contracting”. The vehicle is a dump-truck style displaying Maryland registration 2BR9520. The victim was treated and released from Shock Trauma. This incident is domestic-related. Anyone with information on this incident or the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call 410-222-8610 or Detective Brian Houseman of the Eastern District at 410-222-6145.

Suspect: Dennis Patrick Schultz, 54, of 8100 block Armiger Drive, Pasadena, Md. Charges have been filed for attempted murder, assault, handgun violations and other related charges.
