Londontowne Symphony to perform film favorites in January concert

In a concert that is sure to delight movie lovers both young and old, the Londontowne Symphony Orchestra (LSO) will perform a full slate of film music masterpieces at its January concert, Movie Music Live!

From a suite of Harold Arlen’s iconic songs for The Wizard of Oz to Howard Shore’s epic score to The Lord of the Rings and John Williams’ masterful Schindler’s List and Star Wars soundtracks, LSO Music Director Anna Binneweg will lead the orchestra through some of the finest and best-loved music from the world of cinema.

The concert will also include an homage to popular music’s greatest songwriting duo with Beatles! A Medley of Lennon and McCartney Favorites. The full concert program can be found below.

The concert will begin at 7:30 PM on Saturday, January 10 at Annapolis High School. General admission tickets are $15, senior tickets cost $10, and all students receive free admission. To purchase tickets, please call 410-562-8920 or visit the LSO’s website, www.lso-music.org.
