On November 8, 2014, at approximately 1:20 p.m.., officers from the Western District responded to the 7900 Blk. Jason’s Landing Way Severn, MD 21144 for a report of theft that just occurred.

Upon arrival officers learned that two girls, a 12 year-old and a 13-year-old, had a wagon full of Girl Scout Cookies selling them at the location. They stepped away for a second, then looked around and saw suspect #2 take the wagon full of cookies and take off down the street heading towards a waiting vehicle. One of the girls chased after suspect #2 and grabbed the wagon that contained the cookies. Suspect #1 let go of the wagon and then jumped into the suspect vehicle being driven by suspect #1.

The girls yelled out that the suspect was taking their cookies at one point and neighbors in the area heard them. The neighbors got in their vehicle and followed the suspects’ vehicle. The police were contacted at the same time. The officer on scene contacted the driver of the citizen’s vehicle by cell phone. The officer gave out the location and direction of travel of the suspect vehicle. The vehicle was located at the Gulf gas station on Annapolis Road in Odenton where the suspects were arrested without incident. They were positively identified by the victims.

They were charged with theft under $1000.00.
