Red Robin® restaurants across the state have teamed up with local law enforcement to host the 9th annual Tip-A-Cop® fundraiser on Saturday, October 18 at 12 Red Robin® locations. Law enforcement officers will trade their ticket books for order pads and serve guests alongside Red Robin’s® wait staff, with tips benefitting Special Olympics Maryland, which provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports events for Maryland’s children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
The 9th annual Tip-A-Cop® fundraiser is part of a national campaign by Special Olympics, Red Robin® and law enforcement to raise funds for local Special Olympics programs. More than 350 restaurants in 36 states will participate. In its nine years, Tip-A-Cop® has raised more than $2.7 million for Special Olympics programs. Tip-A-Cop® is part of the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run® (LETR) campaign which is supported by more than 100,000 law enforcement officers worldwide who help raise money and awareness for Special Olympics.
