Tony Campolo to speak in Severna Park

outside TC  flyer finalLeading author, preacher and activist, Dr. Tony Campolo will speak on Saturday and Sunday, October 18 -19 at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, located at 611 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd, Severna Park, MD 21146. Dr. Campolo will be speaking at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, October 18 in the sanctuary and preaching at the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services on Sunday, October 19.

Dr. Tony Campolo, preacher and educator (Professor of Sociology at Eastern University in St. Davids, PA) has been named one of the “seven most effective preachers in the English-speaking world” by Baylor University. He is the founder of Evangelical Association for the Promotion of Education (EAPE) and the ministry Red Letter Christians. Dr. Campolo has worked to create, nurture and support programs for “at-risk” children in cities across North America, and has helped establish schools and universities in several developing countries. Advisor to one president, he is the author of 37 books and has appeared on numerous television shows including The Colbert Report, Nightline and Crossfire. He is an ordained minister having served American Baptist Churches in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
