Delegate Steve Schuh Republican Candidate for Anne Arundel County Executive

Delegate Steve Schuh was endorsed for Anne Arundel County Executive today by AFSCME Local 582 and Local 2563, groups that represent more than 800 County employees.

“Steve Schuh understands that in order to continue to provide the excellent services that the citizens of Anne Arundel County expect and deserve, you must hire and retain excellent employees,” said AFSCME Presidents Mike Akers and Tim Kingston. “We appreciate the fact that early in his campaign Mr. Schuh took the time to communicate his vision for Anne Arundel County to us and also listened to and responded to our comments and concerns. We look forward to working with Anne Arundel County Executive Steve Schuh.”

AFSCME represents employees who handle roadwork, snow removal, water and wastewater utilities, dispatchers, inspectors, secretaries and clerical workers.

“I am grateful for the support of the people who serve the citizens on the front lines in our County,” Delegate Schuh said. “They are saying that they accept the challenge to deliver excellent services efficiently and effectively. I have a plan to do that.”
