HeadFirst_Casey_ThompsonHeadFirst Sports Injury and Concussion Care Centers, a service of Righttime Medical Care, is pleased to announce that Casey Thompson, MS, ATC, has been hired as an athletic trainer, educator and community outreach coordinator. In the position, Thompson will attend sporting and outreach events, educate patients, families and coaches about concussions and assist with community and professional relationships.

A graduate of West Virginia University in Athletic Training, Thompson holds a Master of Science degree from Marshall University in Huntington, WV, in Athletic Administration. She completed an athletic training internship with the U.S. Naval Academy football team and most recently worked for ATI Physical Therapy in Severna Park, MD, where she served as Head Athletic Trainer for Severna Park High School and Assistant Athletic Trainer for Archbishop Spaulding High School in Severn, MD.

“Being an athlete myself, and also being part of an allied health profession, I find it easy to relate to athletes in their time of injury and to lay out a course of treatment for the patient and family that is compatible with successful recovery,” says Thompson. “I’m excited to join the HeadFirst team and to work with the public to answer their questions about sports and head injuries.”

“We’re thrilled to have someone of Casey’s caliber on our team,” says Dr. Robert G. Graw, M.D., Chief Executive Officer of Righttime Medical Care. “As HeadFirst continues to expand, we are pleased to attract the best and most energetic individuals in their professions.”
