CBMM offers intermediate carving workshop

CBMM_CarvingWorkshop_Oct28_30_Nov4-6The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is offering a four-session intermediate carving workshop with craftsman John Garlick from 5-9 pm. beginning on Tuesday, October 28, and continuing on October 30, November 4 and November 6. Participation is limited, with advanced registration needed.

Participants will learn the techniques and artistry necessary to produce a carved eagle with its wings spread. Prior carving experience and tools are required, with other materials provided.

The cost for the four-day workshop is $170 for CBMM members and $185 for non-members. Participation is limited with pre-registration required by contacting CBMM’s Boatyard Program Manager Jenn Kuhn at 410-745-4980 or by emailing [email protected]. For more information, visit www.cbmm.org.
