Leon C. Thomas III, a student success and retention advisor at Anne Arundel Community College, received the 2014 Minority Access Role Model award as a mentor at the Minority Access’ National Role Models Conference Oct. 3-5, in Washington, D.C.
Although several national awards were given, Thomas was the sole recipient of the national mentor award this year by Minority Access.
