Battle of the Bands bands representing at WoodstocRoc

20140909_165319WoodstocRoc started out in 2012 as a little picnic/festival to raise money for the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults.  The first year was small enough that even little kids  could play the main stage.

With the popularity, the festival was moved to the Howard County Fairgrounds last year as it grew into a full day/night event.

And it grew. This year they’ve joined with The Taste of Maryland to make it an all weekend food and music event – still being a benefit for the Ulman Cancer Fund and some other causes.

Chasing Verity, one of the finalists in this year’s Battle of the Bands has played every year and will be playing again this year. But, the organizers have asked Chasing Verity to wrangle up some talent. So, Jolie Sarro, of Chasing Verity, reached out to her competition and asked them. And with open arms and open hearts, Chasing Verity, The Goons, Brothers Clair, and Yours Truly will be making up a big chunk of the Sunday lineup.

Tickets are $35 for a 2-Day weekend pass and $20 for a daily admission. And they are available right here!
