Regina’s Restaurant to close at end of year

Reginas RestaurantAfter 32 years in West Annapolis, Regina’s Restaurant is scheduled to close at the end of the year; but owner, Stephanie Regina is actively looking for a new place.

The local favorite known for its fabulous brunch, desserts and German food was notified by the building owner that they had other plans for the space and that the restaurant would have to vacate by January 15th.

“I’d love to stay in Annapolis, but a lot of the codes have changed over the years and I am concerned about the added cost to relocate,” said Regina.  She has begun her search and has considered locations as far as Crofton, but would rather remain in Annapolis where she lives and where her customers are located.

The Village of West Annapolis has seen some turnover in the past few years. bb bistro closed and was replaced with a second location of Bean Rush Cafe. Annapolis Gourmet and Deli closed in 2013. Without Regina’s Restaurant, the only full service restaurants in the area will be the Mexican Cafe and The Canton Restaurant.

We profiled Regina’s Restaurant in the fall of 2013.
