Eastern Shore artist debut at Annapolis Maritime Museum

'Raft on the Miles' Valerie SunderlandBarbara Jablin noted artist/instructor of the Chestnut Street Studio in St. Michaels, will showcase her twelve handpicked students at the Annapolis Maritime Museum. Her students, each accomplished artists in their own right, have distinctive personal styles. The theme of the show will highlight the Chesapeake and its tributaries, all done with a watercolor flair. The show will be judged by award winning artist, Steve Bleinberger, local Bay artist who grew up looking at the Thomas Point Lighthouse. Steve is a member of the Annapolis Watercolor Club as well as the Baltimore Watercolor Society and many other organizations.

The show opens with a reception open to the public on Thursday August 7th from 5:30 to 7:00pm.  The Museum is open to the public Thursday through Sunday from Noon – 4 p.m. The show will close on September 27th.
