Dillon’s experience with teaching and coaching has included positions such as Varsity Sailing Coach for Norfolk Collegiate School, Head Sailing Instructor at Sail Nauticus, Race Team Coach at Bellport Bay Sailing Foundation, and Sailing Instructor at Lake Crabtree County Park (Summers 2007 – 2010).

Dillon’s racing experience is equally extensive having competed in many Collegiate sailing events, including; the 2013 Coed National Championship, 2012 Truxton Umstead Regatta, and 2012 Hobart William Smith Intersectional.
