The Bowie Baysox announce today the Red, White and Boom All-American Independence Day Celebration at Prince George’s Stadium Thursday, July 3, as the team takes on the Altoona Curve at 6:35 p.m. The event features the popular Independence Day Barbecue and an extended fireworks display.
Baysox Marketing Director Brandan Kaiser looks forward to the event. “There is no better place to start your Independence Day celebration than at the ballpark,” Kaiser said. “Not only do we have our most exciting fireworks show of the season after the game, but there will be tons of fun ways to celebrate the holiday throughout the evening, including the Independence Day picnic.”
Fans can enjoy the game along with a two-hour buffet at the annual Independence Day Picnic. The menu includes grilled all-beef hamburgers and hot dogs, corn on the cob, barbecue baked beans, crunchy chips, chilled watermelon and soft drinks. The buffet is served from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $27 for adults, $22 for children ages six to 12, $10 for children ages three to five and $22 for season ticket holders. The picnic includes a general admission seat ticket for the games and fans can upgrade to box seat tickets for $4 each.
