Tri for the environment

Tri for the environmentThe Tri for the Environment has been rescheduled for Sunday September 28, 2014 at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center in Edgewater, Md.

This classic distance race is a perfect introduction for the new triathlete or a solid course for the experienced triathlete looking to race. Last years race sold out with over 200 participants, register now while space is still available. This year we are excited to announce the addition of a sprint duathalon.

Beginning at 8am with a half mile river swim or 5K bike, a 10-mile bike, and a 3.1 mile trail run. Come and experience the beauty of the over 2,000 acre SERC campus, including a well-shaded bike and run course.

Proceeds from the race will be donated to the Chesapeake Bay Trust and the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Visit our website at www.tri4theenvironment.wordpress.com for more details.
