Mark your calendar for Annapolis Arts, Crafts & Wine Fest (June 7-8, 2014)

ACWine logoThe Annapolis Arts, Crafts & Wine Festival is a weekend of fine, juried arts and crafts, wine tastings from 25 Maryland wineries, music all day long, delectable cuisine to purchase and activities for the whole family. Bring your chair, too, and sip wine and listen to music all day long! This is the largest Maryland wine festival in the region and is becoming a national destination.   The festival is conveniently located at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, a short distance from historic downtown Annapolis, Maryland, a colonial town with many shops, restaurants, and views of sail boats coming in and out the harbor.

Enjoy wine tastings from 25 Maryland wineries while shopping for fine arts and crafts. Under huge wine pavilions, festival-goers can sample local wines from select Maryland wineries:  Basignani Winery, Boordy Winery, Cove Point Winery, Cygnus Wine Cellars, Distillery Lane Ciderworks, Slack Winery, Dove Valley Winery, Elk Run Vineyards, Far Eastern Shore Winery, Friday’s Creek Winery, Great Frogs Winery, Great Shoals Winery, Knob Hall Winery, Layton’s Chance Vineyard and Winery, Legends Vineyards, Linganore Winecellars, Red Heifer Winery, Romano Vineyard and Winery, Slack Winery, Solomon’s Island Winery, St. Michaels Winery, Thanksgiving Farm Wine, The Winery at Olney, and Woodhall Wine Cellars.   Gourmet food vendors will offer samples of their products which will be for sale, too.

Two local musical groups — The Mosaic Jazz Ensemble and Three Shot Mocha — will be back again this year performing a variety of music enjoyed by all ages.  Patrons are encouraged to bring their own chairs, purchase a bottle of wine, and listen to smooth jazz all day long.  There are activities for children, too, in The Kids’ Art area with theatrical, dance, and musical performances on stage along with tie-dying demonstrations.  Lunch and snacks can be purchased with seating under tents available in The Beer Garden Pavilion.
