Learn 10 emerging ideas in strategic leadership that can help you build your business into an innovative organization that turns challenges into economic growth at a free seminar Thursday, June 5, sponsored by Anne Arundel Community College’s partner, Global Community College (GCC).

Laura Bernstein, executive vice president of Global Learning Solutions at GCC, will lead an interactive discussion on ways to navigate a business landscape filled with volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity and will guide participants as they reflect on their organization’s critical initiatives and complete an action plan to move new ideas forward.

The session meets from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the lecture hall at AACC at Arundel Mills, 7009 Arundel Mills Circle, Hanover. Although the event is free, registration is required. Visit www.aacc.edu/cws/rsvp to register.

The event also will give participants the opportunity to learn more about the GCC, a dedicated network of community colleges and universities in the United States with partners in 24 countries that provide consistent, strategic employee development across multiple time zones, locations and languages. So, if you have business operations both here and in other locations, GCC can deliver the same training to employees at all locations.

AACC was a founding member of GCC and has just added three new partner colleges here in Maryland: Carroll Community College, Community College of Baltimore County and Howard Community College. Together, the colleges expand the network and employee training and development resources to local businesses in Maryland.

GCC President and Founder Denise Reading  said that in partnering with business and firms where profit margins drive every decision, GCC understands clients are interested in the practical, not the theoretical.
