Running for recovery (May 17, 2013)

runforrecoverytChrysalis House, Inc. located in Crownsville, Maryland is pleased to announce their 3rd annual 5K Run for Recovery and 1K Caterpillar Walk, which will occur on Saturday, May 17th. The event will be held on the upper school campus of Indian Creek School (Crownsville, MD). Registration begins at 8:00am with the 5K beginning promptly at 9:30am and course marshaled by volunteers from the Indian Creek School Cross Country team. In addition to the day’s race events, raffle prizes will be drawn and include: tickets to major sports events, dining certificates, and wellness and beauty packages.

Individuals and Teams interested in participating in this year’s run may register through the Chrysalis House website  via Active.com. Pricing ranges from $15-$30 for individuals and $100 for a team of four. All ages are welcome to participate; this is a mixed terrain course, made up of grass and pavement.

This year’s event would not be made possible without the community support including sponsorships from: Annapolis Running Store, Fleet Feet Annapolis and Severna Park, Sandy Springs Bank, Indian Creek School, Impressive Promotions and Products, Wegmans Crofton, and the Chrysalis House Board. Sponsorship opportunities are still available for those businesses and individuals interested.
