The nonprofit Leadership Anne Arundel is hosting a reception to meet and honor the area’s newest leaders.

Carrols Creek is owned by LAA graduate Jeff Jacobs, offering award-winning food and giving back to our community for two decades.

Last year, Leadership Anne Arundel celebrated our area’s new leaders in a sold-out reception honoring new County Executive Laura Neuman, Anne Arundel Community College President Dawn Lindsay, Capital Newspaper Publisher Pat Richardson, Capital Newspaper Editor Steve Gunn, County Chief Operating Officer Karen Cook and County Chief of Staff Dave Cordle.

All proceeds from ticket sales benefit the nonprofit LAA’s educational leadership programs. LAA’s classes have created important sustaining projects, community events and foundations that have become an integral part of the community and touched many lives every year. Examples include the 21st Century Education Foundation, High School Battle of the Bands, Teen Court, and the Volunteer Center of Anne Arundel County.
