Baysox to host Spring egg hunt

eastereggsThe Bowie Baysox and their lovable mascot, Louie, host the Kids Capital Spring Fling featuring the Spring Egg Hunt at Prince George’s Stadium Saturday, April 19, as the Baysox take on the Harrisburg Senators at 2:05 p.m. The spring fling is the first of five monthly events for members of Louie’s Kids Club.

Baysox Marketing Director Brandan Kaiser helped Louie plan the event.  “Louie loves Egg Hunts so he can’t wait for the Spring Fling Kids Club Event,” Kaiser said.  “This event is just the first of five exclusive events for members of Louie’s free Kids Club to attend during the season and Louie can’t wait to see all of his young fans out at the ballpark.”

Gates for the event open early at 11:45 a.m. and the egg hunt will begin at noon.  Only members of Louie’s Kids Club and their families who pre-register for the egg hunt will be allowed to participate. Club members and their families may purchase discounted box seat tickets for $11 (regularly $17), reserved youth seat tickets for $7 (regularly $12) and reserved adult seats for $9 (regularly $14). Tickets must be ordered in advance online or by calling Joe Miller at 301-464-4853 by 5 p.m. Thursday, Apr. 17.

The eggs will be hidden throughout the stadium, with a special area for younger fans. While the egg hunt is going on, there will be activities for kids on the concourse and Louie’s Kids Park will be open and free.

Louie’s Kids Club is free and easy to join.  Any fan ages 12 and under can sign up at www.baysoxshop.com/kids/club/ or at any Baysox home game.  The team hosts an exclusive Kids Club event each month of the season, and members receive a free gift at a future Baysox game, limit one per child per season. This year’s gift is a Baysox pillowcase. Kids Club members can also eat free at any Sunday home game. Parents must order the food voucher in advance on www.baysoxshop.com.
