Tee up for a child

| March 15, 2014, 03:03 PM | 0 Comments

CASAAnne Arundel County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Inc. will host its 14th annual Tee Up for a Child golf tournament, Thursday, May 8, at 8 a.m., at Eisenhower Golf Course (1576 Generals Highway, Crownsville, MD 21032).    First National Bank is the presenting sponsor again this year.

The golf outing includes breakfast, an awards luncheon, and beverage stations on the course. Registration begins at 8:00a.m. with a shotgun start at 9:00a.m.

Event chair is AACCASA Board Member, Richard M. Lerner, Chairman of the Maryland Region with First National Bank in Annapolis. Organized by the board of directors and community leaders, the golf tournament is part of the annual campaign to raise funds to ensure that every child in foster care has a dedicated CASA volunteer by their side – one child at a time, one life at a time, one future at a time.

The tentative rain date is Thursday, May 22.

AACCASA hopes the event will raise $50,000 to provide more CASA volunteers to be voices for abused and neglected children in the foster care system.

The cost is $175/golfer and $700/foursome.  Sponsorship opportunities are available. Please register by May 1. For more information or to register/sponsor, visit www.aacasa.org, call 410-267-7877 x6 or email [email protected].
