Odyssey Massage opens in Annapolis

Odyssey MassageAnnapolis Mayor Mike Pantelides and Annapolis Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) President and CEO Lara Fritts are pleased to welcome Odyssey Massage to Annapolis.

Odyssey Massage, located at 31 Maryland Avenue, is committed to taking each of its clients on their own journey into wellness.  Founded by Martina Ferret and Tim McClennen, the clinic focuses on providing rigorous massage treatments in an elegant environment.

“Odyssey brings a holistic approach to wellness,” said Mayor Pantelides. “This, combined with a calm and relaxing environment, makes for a memorable experience.”

Martina and Tim have three talented and enthusiastic employees. Kristie Minnis is an athletic trainer, a massage therapist, and will soon be a doctor of chiropractic. David Sprouse is a massage therapist and a Reiki practitioner. Frank Hutchinson is a former professional boxer and works with athletes. He is known for his ability to eliminate a migraine in progress.

Both Martina and Tim believe in treating the whole client, focusing on functional treatment with a concern for the client’s comfort.

“There are so many options available at Odyssey,” Lara Fritts said. “This business caters to the visitor who just needs to relax for a few minutes, to the person who suffers from chronic migraines. Their services are as diverse and individual as our population.”

Hours of operation are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.  Odyssey Massage can be reached at 410-263-3646.

Odyssey Massage had a grand opening and ribbon cutting on February 14.
