Fire Department seeks public’s help in auto arson case

arsonAround 1:00 a.m. this morning, the Anne Arundel County Fire Department responded to a reported vehicle fire in the 300 block of Old Riverside Road in the Brooklyn area of Anne Arundel County. Upon arrival, firefighters found a 2003 Cadillac SUV at that location fully engulfed in fire.  It took less than 15 minutes to bring the fire under control.  Fire Investigators who were summoned to the scene have conducted a preliminary investigation into the cause and determined the cause of the fire to be incendiary in nature. Investigators also have reason to believe that an individual involved in this incident suffered burns to their hands, upper body and face.
