Daily Record names Judge Asti one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women

Alison AstiThe Daily Record named Alison L. Asti, Associate Judge, Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County to its 2014 listing of Maryland’s Top 100 Women. Judge Asti has also been named to the Circle of Excellence.

Judge Asti, a native of Severna Park, who was formerly Executive Director of the Maryland Stadium Authority and instrumental in bringing the Ravens to Baltimore, now lives in Pasadena, Maryland.

The Daily Record began Maryland’s Top 100 Women in 1996 to recognize outstanding achievement by women demonstrated through professional accomplishments, community leadership and mentoring. Judge Asti was also named as one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women in 1996.

Three hundred and seventy women were nominated for the statewide honor. Nominees were asked to complete an application outlining their educational and career history, professional and community involvement, corporate and nonprofit board memberships and mentoring experience. They were encouraged to submit letters of recommendation from those who are familiar with their accomplishments professionally, in the community and through mentoring.

A panel of judges comprised of business professionals and past Maryland’s Top 100 Women winners from throughout Maryland reviewed the applications and selected this year’s honorees.

In 2014, 63 women are first-time recipients. Fifteen women, including Judge Asti, will be inducted into the Circle of Excellence. Circle of Excellence honorees will receive the award for a third and final time.

And we’re pretty certain they mastered what we all desire—the ability to get 25 hours of daily work done in an allotted 24.”

“Admission to The Daily Record’s Circle of Excellence is a testament to the exceptional contributions each honoree has made through the course of years,” Daily Record Publisher Suzanne Fischer-Huettner said. “We are proud to recognize Judge Alison L. Asti for her continued outstanding work and dedicated service.”
