Annapolis Boat ShowsCruisers University’s 2014 schedule was announced today by the Annapolis Boat Shows and will include 50 expert-taught seminars, classes designed for women, and intensive hands-on programs focused on high-tech navigation and diesel maintenance. Running concurrently with the 2014 Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show, April 24 – 27, Cruisers University will provide two days of intensive training and two additional days of elective seminars.
Designed to enhance life aboard a boat, Cruisers University is one of the only programs of its kind. Developed by boaters for boaters, Cruisers University offers modules on topics such as popular destinations, boat systems, cruising lifestyles, weather, and electronic navigation.

“Cruisers University is tailor-made for anyone considering life aboard a boat. It provides the most comprehensive curriculum available and can be customized for any skill level,” said Paul Jacobs, President of the Annapolis Boat Shows.

“The courses cover everything from understanding thunderstorms and crossing the Gulf Stream, to electronic charting and diesel engine maintenance.”

Cruisers University is a fun educational program with many opportunities to network with experts, casual sailors and fellow boaters. Tuition includes two meals a day, evening social hours, and entry to the Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show.
