Roundz joins West County Restaurant Week

sign at darkStepping forward to showcase the wealth of the West County dining scene, Roundz Gourmet joins a group of area restaurants for the first-ever West County Restaurant week March 3-9.

The week-long event, sponsored by the West County Chamber of Commerce, features a group of restaurants offering special reduced pricing for meals to encourage residents to get out and dine.

“I worked Restaurant Weeks in DC and am thrilled to be part of the launch of this in West County,” said Roundz owner Chef Zachary Pope.  “Since I opened here in 2011, my goal was to offer quality gourmet meals and a unique dining experience for my community.  In the years since, we have seen an explosion of dining opportunities here.  During Restaurant Week, we invite folks to try new things.  It is a great opportunity.”

Monday-Saturday, March 3-9, from 6 pm to 9 pm, Roundz Gourmet (2299 Johns Hopkins Rd., Gambrills) will offer a three course dinner for $24.14 (taxes & gratuity additional). Diners will have options in each course.  Reservations are recommended but walk-ins will be accommodated as space allows. Reservations can be made by calling 443.292.4631.  Chef Pope’s menu:

 First Course – select one

  • House Salad of Mixed Greens with Balsamic Vinaigrette, Pecans & Goat Cheese
  • Roundz Caesar Salad with Parmesan, Croutons & Creamy Garlic Caesar Dressing
  • Creamy Tomato & Basil Soup with Herb Oil

 Second Course – select one

  • Sautéed Shrimp & Diver Sea Scallops Atop Ditalini Pasta with Creamy Arugula Pesto & Grape Tomato
  • Asparagus stuffed Chicken Breast with Butternut, Curry Brown Rice, Baby Spinach and Bell Pepper Coulis
  • Roasted Pork Loin with Sautéed Apples, Broccoli, Sweet Potatoes & Mustard Demi-Glace
  • Slow Braised Beef Brisket with Rich Mashed Potatoes, Herbed Green Beans & Red Wine Shallot Sauce
  • Grilled Salmon glazed with Pomegranate Molasses Atop Rich Mashed Potatoes & Baby Spinach

 Third Course – select one

  • Key Lime Mousse with Crème Anglaise & White Chocolate Curls
  • Roundz Vanilla Bean Crème Brulee with Berries
  • Dessert du Jour- Chef’s Choice
