Fire Heavily Damages Odenton Home On Meyers Station Road

Around 7:15 a.m. this morning, calls began to be received reporting a house fire in an occupied home located in the 1300 block of Meyers Station Road in Odenton.

Upon arrival, firefighters observed heavy fire and smoke showing from the second floor of a large two-story home. A Working Fire dispatch was immediately requested bringing a total of 50 personnel from Anne Arundel County, Prince George’s and Fort Meade Fire Departments to the scene that were brought the incident under control in 30 minutes.

The fire caused approximately $250, 000 in total damage to the home and cause of the fire was determined to be accidental in nature. Three residents at home at the time escaped without injury.
