Ballet Theatre of Maryland, Maryland’s premier professional ballet company, is proud to announce its debut of a powerful, new production of Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece—Swan Lake—at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, 801 Chase Street, in Annapolis, February 21-23, 2014. The Friday premiere is at 7:30 p.m., followed by a 7:00 p.m. performance on Saturday the 22nd, and a Sunday Matinee, February 29, at 2:00 p.m.

Fast-paced story-telling awaits you as Siegfried finds love in Odette, a beautiful maiden who has been cursed by the evil sorcerer, Von Rothbart, to take the form of a swan during the day. Discover their fate as Prince Siegfried battles the sorcerer for Odette’s freedom, her love and her life.
