Annapolis Police Report: Drug Bust, Neighborhood Watch Meeting

police-blotter-graphicGood News – On 02/10 detectives from the Annapolis Police Department and deputies from the United States Marshals Service arrested Watson Bruce, 29, of Annapolis in the 1800 block of Copeland St.  Bruce had an open warrant through the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County for five counts of possession of CDS with intent to distribute and four counts of possession of CDS not marijuana.  Bruce is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.

There are no preventable Part One offenses to report this morning. Part One offenses are those incidents we report to the MD State Police and the F.B.I. These incidents include homicides, robberies, burglaries, rapes, serious assaults, and thefts.

Neighborhood Watch Meeting
The next Neighborhood Watch meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 12, from 6:30pm to 8pm at Annapolis Police Headquarters, 199 Taylor Avenue.  This meeting’s topic will be “Human Trafficking in Annapolis”.  Retired Detective Jeffrey Hartlove will talk about a human trafficking case involving brothels being operated in Annapolis.  Food will be served so please RSVP to Sgt.
