Annapolis Police Report, Burglary, Attempted Theft, Theft From Vehicle

police-blotter-graphicUpdate to Stolen Vehicle – 201400000735 – Unit block of Amberstone Ct – 02/11 at 7:30pm to 02/12 at 1am:  A blue 2011 Honda Element, MD reg. 89735CD, was stolen from the parking lot.  The vehicle was left apparently unlocked with a spare key inside.  This vehicle was repossessed, not stolen.  The tow company reported the repossession to the wrong police department.

Theft from Vehicle – 201400000734 – Unit block of Shaw St – 02/11 at 7pm to 02/12 at 10am:  Money was taken from an unlocked vehicle.

Attempted Theft ­– 201400000737 – 1400 block of West St – 02/12 at 3pm:  A woman attempted to steal over $900 worth of audio books from the library.  If you have any information about this theft please contact Officer Buckson at 410-268-9000.

Burglary – 201400000747 – 600 block of Tuckahoe Creek Ct – 02/13 from 11:30am to 10:20pm:  The ground floor rear sliding glass door was broken to gain entry into the home.  An iPhone 4, an iPad, Gucci and Louis Vuitton handbags, a Sony handheld computer, and a gold bracelet were taken.  The resident was the victim of a previous burglary on 02/11 that was not reported.  During that burglary three watches and seven bottles of wine were taken.  Entry to the home was gained by forcing open the front door.

Citizen Fingerprinting
There will be no citizen fingerprinting offered Monday, February 17 due to the Presidents’ Day holiday.
