Wednesday Night Sailboat Races

First Gun: 6:10 p.m.

Grab your favorite dockside seat in America’s Sailing Capital to watch midweek races where some 150 boats sail around several marks in the Bay before heading back to Spa Creek for a finish in front of the Annapolis Yacht Club. For many, the post-race party is the official beginning of the weekend.

Race Across America
Wednesday June 18 – Monday June 23

City Dock, Annapolis

After cycling 3000+ miles through twelve states, Over 300 elite cyclists from all over the world are expected to cross the finish line at City Dock. The solo and relay team race starts on June 10 and June 14 in Oceanside, California. Athletes have just nine days to complete the course. To beat the running clock, they must travel at least 300 miles a day on less than four hours of sleep. Thirty-percent longer than Tour de France, RAAM is considered to be the most grueling race in the world. 2014 will be the 33rd anniversary of RAAM.  The race is one of the longest continuously run bicycle races in America.  Come and cheer for these amazing athletes as they complete a monumental journey! 

Eastport A Rockin’

One day, three stages, more than 25 bands. Recognized as the local music festival of the summer, Eastport A Rockin’ was created to expose local music to a larger audience. From rock, to folk, to roots, to jazz, to bluegrass, to funk, the breadth of music is designed to please a wide range of audiences. Streets and sidewalks are filled with music and lined with local artisans and entertainers. A kids’ area includes a moon bounce, face painters, tattoo artists, laser tag and cotton candy.

3rd Annual West Annapolis Paris Flea Market
