Kick-start your new year the healthy, gourmet way.  Award-winning Chef Zachary Pope of Roundz Gourmet has a full slate of culinary events in January for adults and children.  

New Year’s Eve Dining at Roundz – Tuesday, Dec. 31 from 6 pm to 9:30 pm

Roundz Gourmet is accepting reservations for a 5-course, fixed price menu for $50 each per guest.  Guests can select from a menu that provides a variety of options for all tastes.  The complete menu (available online at www.roundz.com) features entrees of Prime Rib, Chicken Saltimbocca, Paella, Salmon or Vegan Grilled Eggplant, along with your choice of appetizer, soup, salad and dessert.   The first seating is at 6 pm and the last seating is at 9:30 pm.  Tables are available each half hour until capacity is reached.  Contact Roundz at 443.292.4631 to make reservations.

Cooking Classes

Friday, January 17, 7 pm – Knife Skills & Vegetable Cookery

Topics that go hand-in-hand!  Everything you always wanted to know about using kitchen knives – from what to select to how you should stand – along with utilizing your knife skills in preparing vegetable dishes your family willl love!

Monday, January 27, 7 pm – “So you’re having a dinner party…”

The return of a popular class in which Chef Zachary Pope leads you through the preparation of an appetizer, entree & dessert that will win rave reviews from your guests.

Family Chef’s Challenge – Monday, January 20 at 11 a.m.

(Anne Arundel County Schools are closed that day)

We’re taking advantage of the Jan. 20 public school holiday to offer a wonderful culinary experience for adults, youth and children.

Join us for a light-hearted cooking competition geared toward families and friends.  We are accepting reservations for up to four 2-member teams who will work under the direction of award-winning Chef Zachary Pope to create a tasty dish suitable for the family dinner table.  The winning team will receive a family gourmet meal for four from Chef Pope & Roundz Gourmet.  This special Chef’s Challenge is open to all ages, but children must be partnered with a parent or adult guardian.  The entry fee is $50 per team. More information can be found at www.roundz.com

Roundz After Dark 2014

2014 marks the third year of the wildly popular Roundz After Dark dining series.  This 6-course, full-sensory dining experience features exclusive creations by Chef Zachary Pope and is accompanied by soothing live music. Roundz After Dark is $80 per guest.  Dates for 2014 are as follows:

Saturday, January 11 – Friday, February 14 – Saturday, March 15 – Saturday, April 12 – Saturday, May 10 – Saturday, June 14
