On November 27, 2013, at approximately 1529 hours, officers from the Northern District responded to Nursery Road at Patapsco Road for a reported armed robbery.  Responding officers learned, prior to the robbery, the victim used social media (Facebook) to negotiate the sale of a pair of tennis shoes.  Once the sale price was settled, the buyer asked the seller to meet him on Nursery Road to complete the sale.  When the seller arrived, two men approached him.  One of these persons punched the victim in the face; at the same time, the second suspect forcibly took the shoes from the victim.  The suspects fled once they acquired the shoes and the victim gave chase.  During the foot chase, one of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victim, forcing the victim to discontinue his pursuit.

Officers utilized the Facebook information provided by the victim and eventually focused on a nearby residence along Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard.  Officers went to the residence and found two men fitting the robbery suspects’ descriptions.  The victim positively identified both individuals as the persons who robbed him.  Both suspects were arrested and charged with armed robbery and related offenses.  The juvenile suspect was charged as an adult.
