SoFo Annapolis, the business association serving the South Forest Drive corridor, is launching their new organization with a holiday raffle. This group of shops, restaurants and businesses has joined forces in an effort to promote awareness and attract attention to the busy strip of Forest Drive from Chinquapin Round Road to Bay Ridge.
From November 23rd thru December 15th customers visiting participating businesses can fill out entry forms (one per customer per day) for a chance to win one of 15 $50 gift certificates, which will be drawn December 16th. A complete list of participating businesses can be found at www.sofoannapolis.com and in their ad in Bay Weekly’s Season’s Bounty Holiday Guide (publishing November 21, 2013).
A special day of holiday fun will be held on Saturday, December 7th. A live radio remote by WRNR 103.1 FM will be held at the Village Green Shops at South Cherry Grove from noon to 2:00 pm. Representatives from SoFo Businesses will be on hand to offer special promotions and discounts, along with the City of Annapolis Firefighters Local 1926 fire truck and special guest, Santa Claus, collecting donated toys as part of the annual Santa Run.
