AACC Holiday Events & Workshops

Now through Dec. 18 – 8 a.m. – 11 p.m. Toys for Tots Collection – The Anne Arundel Community College Department of Public Safety is a drop-off site for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots program for the 10th year; bring new, unwrapped toys to the department in the Central Services Building on the Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway. Toys also may be dropped off from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the security desks in the front lobbies of AACC’s facilities at the Glen Burnie Town Center, 101 Crain Highway N. in Glen Burnie and AACC at Arundel Mills: A Regional Higher Education Center, 7009 Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover. Nov. 27 – noon 25th Annual Anne Arundel Community College Turkey Trot and Food Drive; new route starts and finishes at Siegert Field on AACC’s Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway; participants are asked to donate nonperishable individual meals and snacks for the AACC Food Pantry for students who arrive to school hungry and cannot afford to purchase food; early Turkey Trot registration fees through Nov. 20 are $15 for 5K race and $10 for one-mile jaunt, adding $5 additional to each fee after Nov. 20; race packets available at 10:30 a.m. race day; prizes including turkeys, pies and gift certificates will be awarded in new categories at 1:15 p.m. in the David S.
