The Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities recognized over 125 years of combined leadership experience among its seven Senior Activity Center Directors.  These directors make a positive impact on the communities they serve each day, engaging older adults in life-changing activities.

Anne Arundel County’s Senior Activity Centers offer a wide range of educational programs, recreational activities, health screenings, nutritious noontime meals, and access to information about services for residents age 55 and older.

“Senior Activity Centers play a vital role in enhancing opportunities and services for residents of Anne Arundel County,” said Pam Jordan, Director of the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities.  “Our ability to effectively deliver those services and resources depends on caring and compassionate staff; how fortunate we are to have those attributes combined with more than 125 years of total leadership experience.”

Senior Activity Centers are open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. except holidays.  All centers provide educational, recreational, and professional services.  Monthly schedules vary with each center.  To find out more about upcoming events and programs at any of Anne Arundel County’s seven Senior Activity Centers, call your local center directly or the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities at 410-222-4464.
