Women’s’ Woodworking At CBMM

CBMM_WomensWoodworkingThe Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum (CBMM) in St. Michaels, MD is offering a women-only basic woodworking class in its boatshop on Sunday, October 20 and 27th from 9am to 4pm.

Led by women shipwrights, the workshop will teach women the foundational skills and techniques of carpentry, as well as offer an introduction to a variety of woodworking tools. No experience is necessary, with class size limited and pre-registration needed.

The cost for the two-day workshop is $100 for CBMM members, or $120 for non-members. Participants must be 16 years of age or older, unless accompanied by an adult. To register, contact Boatyard Program Manager Jenn Kuhn at 410-745-4980 or [email protected].
