$50K Reward Offered For Man Suspected Of Shooting Howard County Officer.  Howard County police are offering a reward up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man who they said shot an officer in north Laurel on Wednesday afternoon.   Stephon Prather, 29, is wanted on attempted murder charges in connection with the shooting of that officer and multiple counts of assault against other officers.

Police: Fire Investigator Witnesses Thieves In Action.  Two people were arrested and charged with theft after an attentive investigator witnessed a theft and pursued the pair, Anne Arundel County police said. Officers were called to a home in the 500 block of Saint Martins Lane in Severna Park for follow-up on a theft that had taken place around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Man, 19, Charged In Year-Old Fatal Shooting.  A 19-year-old man who is already in jail has been charged in connection with a fatal Pasadena shooting that happened more than a year ago. The Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney’s Office said it has charged Paul Michael, 19, with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder for his involvement in a drive-by shooting that killed Matthew Morrow, 21, and injured his friend, 20-year-old Darren Costa.

Shoeprint Helps Nab Linthicum Burglar.  Anne Arundel County police said a shoe print helped them find a man who was involved in multiple burglaries of businesses. Officers were called to the State Farm Insurance office in the 700 block of Nursery Road Unit D in Linthicum for a report of an alarm around 12 a.m. Wednesday.
