Woman Sought In Glen Burnie Bank Robbery.  Anne Arundel County police investigators have released images of a woman they believe robbed the same Glen Burnie bank twice. Several employees of the Bank of Glen Burnie at 101 Crain Highway told police that around 11:15 a.m. Saturday, a woman entered the bank, went directly to the teller and passed a note.

Report Sent To USNA On Sexual Assault Case.  An investigative officer who presided at a hearing to help decide whether three midshipmen should face court-martial over a sexual assault allegation has forwarded his recommendations to the school’s superintendent, the academy’s spokesman said Monday. The report by Cmdr. Robert Monahan has been sent to Superintendent Vice Adm. Michael Miller, said spokesman Cmdr. John Schofield.

Police Investigating Cause Of Bay Bridge Fire. Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire under the deck of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge’s westbound span, which was closed for hours Sunday, backing up traffic for miles. The one-alarm fire was controlled within 15 minutes by 11 firefighters from the Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department shortly before 6 p.m. The fire halted traffic for almost two hours.

Casinos Fined For Underage Gambling.  More than two dozen instances of underage gambling at Maryland casinos will cost casino operators tens of thousands of dollars in fines. A consent agreement signed last week by gambling regulators and earlier by Maryland Live casino marks the state’s first financial penalty for underage violations.

Annapolis Jogger Attacked, Cellphone Stolen. An Annapolis man said he was attacked and his cellphone was stolen while he was jogging through a park on Saturday. The victim told police that he was jogging through Truxton Park near the baseball field around 7:30 p.m. when he was approached by a woman who accused him of stealing items from a nearby pavilion where she had come from a party.
