Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC) is offering health insurance enrollment assistance services. Community members may come to AAMC for help understanding their options and enrolling in health insurance as part of the Affordable Care Act.
AAMC assisters are available at the hospital and at its community clinics*. The assisters will be able to educate consumers and help them complete an application for Medicaid funded insurance.
Community members and patients need to bring the following information: social security number (or document number for legal immigrants), employer and income information (for example: from paystubs, W-2 forms, or wage and tax statements) for enrollment assistance.
Call 443-481-1782 for an appointment or visit the financial assistance office in AAMC’s Hospital Pavilion North near the first floor lobby.
Community members may also visit Maryland Health Connection, the marketplace for individuals, families and small businesses, to compare and enroll in health insurance and determine eligibility for Medicaid and other assistance programs at marylandhealthconnection.gov.
