Bay Bridge Span Reopens After Fire. A fire underneath the westbound span of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge halted traffic for almost two hours Sunday evening. According to the Queen Anne’s County Fire Department, crews were dispatched around 3:50 p.m. for the fire that started underneath the bridge where construction is underway.

Police Investigate Early Morning Glen Burnie Robbery.  Anne Arundel County police investigated a robbery early Sunday near Cheverly and Blakistone roads. Authorities said the 28-year-old victim told them he was walking near the intersection when a vehicle passed him, stopped and two men approached him from behind.

Man Stabbed In Back In Brooklyn Park.  A man was stabbed multiple times in the back in the Brooklyn Park area, police said. Anne Arundel County police said officers were called around 4:20 a.m. Saturday to the 300 block of Riverside Drive for a fight. They found a 24-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. Investigators said they believe the man was stabbed in the area of Hilltop Drive and Alley 26, where he was attacked by an unknown number of people.

Claims Of Racism After Odenton Shooting.  Allegations of racism, bullying and drug activity are at the center of a shooting in which bullets were fired into the Odenton home of a family of five, with bullet fragments hitting a 19-month-old girl.  Anne Arundel County police continue to search for the shooter after officers were called to the 600 block of Cadbury Drive in Odenton around 9:45 p.m. Monday for a report of shots being fired into a home in the Chapelgate community.
