Racism, Drug Claims After Girl Injured In Shooting.  Allegations of racism, bullying and drug activity are at the center of a shooting in which bullets were fired into the Odenton home of a family of five, with bullet fragments hitting a 19-month-old girl. Anne Arundel County police continue to search for the shooter after officers were called to the 600 block of Cadbury Drive in Odenton around 9:45 p.m. Monday for a report of shots being fired into a home in the Chapelgate community.

Police: Teens Blew Up Mailboxes In Davidsonville.  Three teens were arrested and one minor was cited after investigators said they blew up mailboxes in the middle of the night in Davidsonville. Anne Arundel County police officers were called to the area of the 1500 block of Patuxent Manor Road around 1 a.m. Thursday for report of possible shots heard, and dispatch continued to receive numerous calls in the 911 center.

Rolexes Stolen In Smash And Grab Theft.  A brazen thief uses a hammer in a daytime smash-and-grab theft from jewelry store in Anne Arundel County. Officers were called to the 7000 block of Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover for a reported theft from the Ultra Diamonds jewelry store around 2 p.m. Tuesday. A manager told police a thief carrying a yellow plastic bag came into the business and looked through the display cases, and when he reached the watch display case, he pulled a hammer from the yellow bag and broke the display glass.

Police: Man Robbed Of Bike In Glen Burnie.  A man was robbed of his bicycle while on a trail in Glen Burnie, Anne Arundel County police said. Officers were called to the area of Aquahart Road and the B&A Trail for a reported robbery shortly before 4:50 p.m. Wednesday. A 48-year-old man told police three men surrounded him and forcibly took his bicycle while he was on the B&A Trail near Saunders Way and Farrington Road.
