Fines for a second violation will be $125 and $175 for a third or subsequent violation, police said.

Gun Buyers Claim Applications Illegally Processed. Maryland gun club and buyers spent the afternoon in court Thursday. They asked an Anne Arundel County judge to stop the state police, from using other agency employees to process gun applications. The judge denied the request for a temporary restraining order, but this doesn’t settle the complaint gun advocates are likely to pursue a preliminary injunction. Maryland gun clubs and those seeking to purchase fire arms contend the state police compromised gun owners’ personal information.
