Police: Officers Shoot Man Who Stabbed Woman.  Annapolis police said one of their officers shot and killed a man overnight after they said he stabbed the mother of his children several times, killing her. Detectives said they got reports of a man assaulting a woman in the 1900 block of Copeland Street around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday. Arriving officers said they found the woman with multiple stab wounds in an apartment complex parking lot.

Crews Battle 2-Alarm Fire In Historic Annapolis. Crews battled a two-alarm fire in Anne Arundel County. It happened on the 100 block of Main Street in Annapolis around 1 p.m. Tuesday. Officials said it was placed under control at about 1:25 p.m. No further details were immediately available.

Diver Crashes Into Annapolis Business, Injures Two.  Two people were injured when a car crashed into an Annapolis business. Officers were called to the Sprint Store in the 2300 block of Forest Drive in Annapolis for a traffic accident around 3:25 p.m. Monday. Police said a silver 2004 Mazda crashed into the store, traveled through the front glass windows, continued to travel until it struck the front counter and came to a stop.

Robber Holds Taxi Driver At Gunpoint In Baltimore.  Anne Arundel County police are looking for an armed robber. Officers were called to the Sleep Inn parking lot in the 6000 block of Belle Grove Road in Baltimore for a report of an armed robbery around 10 p.m. Monday. A 42-year-old woman told police she was working for New Harbor Transport taxi service and picked up a man in the parking lot of the Sleep Inn who said he wanted to be taken to an address on Townsend Avenue.
