Police Looking For Suspects In 2 Unrelated Overnight Stabbings

StabbingAnne Arundel County Police are looking for suspects in connection with two unrelated stabbings which occurred overnight in west county.

Laurel

On 08/10/2013, at approximately 2:00 am, officers from the Western District responded to the area of Laurel Fort Meade Road and Russett Green West in Laurel for a reported stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, a 39yr old male from Laurel, who stated that while he was walking down the street, he was accosted by what he believed to be an intoxicated male subject.  The subject approached the victim while yelling at him, then stabbed him 3 times in the abdomen with an unknown weapon.  The victim was able to fight off the attacker.  The suspect then ran from the scene.  He was last seen running down Russett Green West.

The victim suffered three minor puncture wounds to his abdomen.  He was transported to BWMC with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers searched the area for the suspect with negative results. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 30-40yrs of age, approximately 5’9, 200lbs, wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.

Odenton

On 8/10/2013, at approximately 3:19 am, officers from the Western District responded to the area of Odenton Road and Bruce Avenue in Odenton for a reported stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, a 44yr old male from Odenton, who stated he was stabbed after a physical altercation with 2 unknown suspects.  The victim was unsure of the exact location of the incident.

The victim had a puncture wound on his upper body and defensive wounds on his hands.  He was transported to BWMC for non-life threatening injuries.

The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction. Officers searched the area with negative results. The suspects were described as 2 white males, no further information.
