bbbistroAnnapolis Mayor Joshua J. Cohen and Annapolis Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) President and CEO Lara Fritts announce that b.b. Bistro will be staying in West Annapolis.

The family friendly coffee shop, known as b.b. Bistro, will be staying at 112A Annapolis Street. b.b. Bistro Owner Carla Lucente says she looked at the possibility of moving to the Annapolis Plaza on Jennifer Road, but instead decided to renew her lease at the current location.

Lucente said she listened to her customers who pleaded with her to stay where she has entertained and fed the particular palates of customers for the past seven years.

“l am excited to be staying in West Annapolis,” Lucente said. “The feedback from customers was overwhelming and I decided to listen and continue to serve the people who have supported me for the past seven years here in West Annapolis.”

b.b. Bistro is known for using local ingredients.  At b.b. Bistro, you will find a fresh menu with a seasonal twist, locally roasted coffee and gourmet sweets. b.b. Bistro has also been recognized as one of the first restaurants in Annapolis to receive the Environmental Stewardship Certification.

“b.b. Bistro is a neighborhood treasure and Carla and her team exemplify locals in a sustainable entrepreneurship,” Mayor Cohen said.  “I’m thrilled that she will remain part of the West Annapolis experience.”

b.b. Bistro hours of operation are currently Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The shop is also available for weekend catering and parties.

“Her decision to stay is not only good for customers, but its good for Annapolis,” Lara Fritts said. “Carla’s reason for staying says a lot about the special ties between our business community and its customers. I couldn’t be happier.”
