Many Volunteer positions are available through the Volunteer Center For Anne Arundel County. If you do not see an opportunity below that fits your needs, contact the Volunteer Center at [email protected] or 410-897-9207. Check our Website: www.VolunteerAnneArundel.org. A few current volunteer opportunities are listed below.

American Cancer Society
Outreach volunteers in AA County (and study participants) are being sought for a landmark, country-wide American Cancer Society Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3); the study needs 30-65 year old participants who have never been diagnosed with cancer and are willing to make a long-term commitment to complete surveys every two years.  We are seeking volunteers to help us promote CPS-3 to drive community participation during our open enrollment period September 15-21, 2013.  A strong network of outreach volunteers is needed to help spread the word about CPS-3 and to encourage enrollment to their family, friends and internal networks. Volunteers can be in any category of health or walk of life: cancer-free, cancer Survivors, avid fundraiser, or someone just wanting to make a difference. Anyone can help us get the word out and here is zero fundraising or selling involved in any way. To become an outreach volunteer, email [email protected], or call (410) 721-4304, option 3. Also lend your support by enrolling in the study if you are eligible at: www.CP3Corridor.org to schedule your own enrollment appointment during the Southern Maryland Corridor CPS-3 Enrollment Week (Sept. 15-21).
